Why Green Fleets?
By their very nature, fleets are leading contributors to greenhouse gas emissions and airborne toxics — both of which pose a variety of potentially serious health, climate and environmental risks, including global warming. Evergreen Fleets seeks to reverse this trend by recognizing fleets for voluntarily adopting strategies that reduce air emissions and petroleum fuel consumption, improve fleet efficiency, and spur the market for alternative fuels — strategies that are equally beneficial to local businesses and our communities.

Become an Evergreen Fleet
Membership in Evergreen Fleets is open to everyone, and is a pre-requisite for fleets seeking Evergreen Fleets certification. Becoming a member provides special access to the Evergreen Fleets Guidance Manual, which walks you step-by-step through the Evergreen Fleet certification process.
