Join Evergreen Fleets Today Protecting our environment is a big job, but Evergreen Fleets is here to help — equipping fleet managers with the necessary tools and information to transition their operations for a greener and more efficient future. As an Evergreen Fleets member, we’ll guide you toward the most effective ways to go green, whether it's buying greener vehicles, switching to cleaner fuels, or improving overall fleet efficiency.
To get started, become an Evergreen Fleets member. With minimal annual dues of $100, anyone can become a member of Evergreen Fleets. Members will be granted access to exclusive program tools and information, but are not required to meet any specific performance standards for certification.
Evergreen Fleets members that meet eligibility requirements can then seek certification through the program. Fleets simply complete the Evergreen Fleets Evaluator to assess the fleet’s achievements in key areas of environmental performance. Areas include green fleet "best practices," such as implementing fuel-efficient driving practices, encouraging the use of alternative fuels, and retrofitting diesel engines. Fleets will also be rated based on their ability to demonstrate annual reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

- Efficiency measures
- Fleet maintenance
- Fleet specific practices (where applicable): Car sharing, diesel retrofits

- Evergreen Fleets staff will then arrange a site visit to verify the accuracy of data and documents submitted with your application. An annual re-certification fee is required.
- Pending the outcome of the review and the site visit, fleets meeting minimum Evergreen Fleets certification criteria will receive up to a 5-star rating, based on their performance on the Best Practices and in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
